Well, here's the thing. If you are reading this it is probably because you care enough about your pet to find something out about KennelworthKennels. It's probably also because even though a lot of the rest of the world might think of a pet as an animal and not much more, you know that our pets are family. They capture our imagination, hearts and, even, love. Zack has been taking our Danny for many years. We know when Danny is with Zack he is even better off than when he's with us -- because Zack and the people who work with him are some of the smartest, understanding and caring two legged creatures around. We trust him and his people completely.

I met Zack Karr when he was in high school and he started taking my Australian Shepherd, Mitten, to the dog beach three days a week. Those three days turned into daily outings, and other dogs joined the fun. Then there were two groups, and soon afterwards, a third one. Through the years, Zack became a certified dog trainer, he started breeding Aussies, offered grooming, and boarded dogs when their families went out of town, all without missing a single day of work taking the dog groups for runs, except for one day when there was a rainstorm with lightning. That's right, one day.

In the almost thirteen years that he has been a part of our family, Zack's only long absence was the year he spent in Arizona to further train in a kennel and I burst into tears to see him go. Happily, he returned, Mitten resumed his runs (and lost all those extra pounds he'd gained from the boring life he'd led without Zack), his dog Sydney had a litter with an Arizona Aussie, and we welcomed into our family a new Aussie from her litter, the one-and-only Mambo. Now Mitten is accompanied by Mambo on the daily dog runs, boarding and grooming, and she and I have been the beneficiaries of Zack's brilliant training sessions.

Not only does Mambo have manners and is an obedient listener, but Zack taught her and me how to "walk" with my scooter. I have M.S. and can only take the swift-footed Mambo for walks with my electric scooter, and it is Zack who trained us to accomplish this goal, one which has brought both Mambo and me many joyful walks together, flying at 5 miles per hour. At home, she heels without leash as I roll through the house in my electric wheelchair, and the joy she derives from being a companion and exuberant friend with focus, tenderness and a desire to learn, comes from her mother, Zack's Sydney, and Zack's training. I cannot put a price on the fun she and Mitten have every day cavorting with their friends in group or day camp at Kennelworth Kennels, where they are safe, and receive individual care from Zack and Jane, who make it a point to know and understand them, as they do all their clients.

So it is only fair, if not magnificent, that Zack owns his own kennel and is doing all the things he was meant to do. He is a brilliant trainer, who understands dogs because he knows what they are thinking before they think it. He also adores them, and they adore him. Zack Karr is also the most conscientious and honorable person I've ever known. He is to be trusted unconditionally, he is fair, and he loves what he does. Furthermore, he works tirelessly to keep his kennel in pristine condition, so that his boarders are in the most sanitary, comfortable and attractive environment.

I can't imagine a better place for dogs to board than Kennelworth Kennels, a more outstanding trainer, a more responsible, committed and trustworthy on-hands owner, and a more conscientious breeder than Zack Karr. As people of character and integrity, talent and thoughtfulness, he and Jane are a treasure and this community is fortunate to have them.
